Vinification and maturing
Traditional vinification, partial ageing in stainless steel vats, 45% matured in 2 or 3 year old oak barrels for 12 months, fining, light tangential filtration before bottling.
Wine of intense garnet colour with purple reflections. Fine, pleasant, intense and spicy nose (black pepper and cloves). On the palate, it is a round and fat wine which shows a very nice balance between tannins, woodiness and fatness.
This wine will harmoniously accompany grilled meats, poultry and cheeses of character.
This wine can be left to age for 3 to 5 years. It is recommended to aerate this wine in a carafe a few hours before tasting. The serving temperature is 16° to 18°C.
