Made from a subtle blend of malbec (87%), merlot (12%), and a very low percentage of tannat, Château Lagrézette is the estate's premier cru. Distinguished by numerous awards, it is a wine for long ageing. It can age and improve for more than 15 years.

Robe

A deep, brilliant red.

Nose

An elegant nose, with red fruit aromas, cocoa notes and a well-integrated woodiness.

Palate

A supple attack for a fat, concentrated and very well structured wine with melted tannins, a long aromatic persistence and woody, vanilla notes blending with black berry (blackcurrant) aromas. This wine is powerful, round, balanced, harmonious with a long and elegant finish.
